My blog

This is a big day for me. I've been wanting to begin this blog for awhile now. Why? Because I have a lot to say and, frankly, I think everyone in the office is sick of listening to me.
Here's how my day started:
I backed into a pole at the gas station trying to get to the tank on the new truck I have owned only about a week. I didn't know where it was and, of course, picked the wrong side on a guess. (why is this now printing in italics?? See, this is how my day's has been going .. I have lost control.) Anyway, while backing up (at the attendant's suggestion) I noticed the kids arriving for school across the street. Thinking I might get a chance to see my producer's adorable daughters, I watched as the cars rolled in .. and that's when I hit the pole. And, that's not the worst part. When the attendant heard the crash, he came running. I tried to explain what happened: that I wasn't paying attention because I was watching the little girls. I thought he was going to call the police. The cost of a new bumper: probably thousands of dollars. The chance to see my little princess pals: priceless.
But, this blog isn't about people on the streets of Needham being afraid that I am a stalker...it is a way for me to get good consumer information to you and your good consumer questions and problems to me. I have 2 e-mail addresses: swornick@hearst.com or susanwornick@gmail.com, I am anxious to hear from you. (now, why did the font change again??? See? It's me). Please check with me also for shopping tips and information. For example, if you'e one of the many looking for an Nintendo Wii, and can't find one in stores, don't panic. My sources tell me the major retailers will be restocked by this weekend .. there's no reason to go to ebay or any other auction site and pay hundreds of dollars over retail. Be patient, I promise.
And, hopefully, you've seen our stories on Sears. Their customer service ain't what it used to be .. if you've had a problem, please let me know.
That's it for now...I am going to drive through the car wash and hope a miracle (in the form of soap) erases my bumper blemish. But, the way this day has been going, it's more likely the hot water will melt the paint.

I’m one of those people who fell under the trap of universal default.. Five years ago I co signed a loan for my son for a car. This year he fell behind on the payment a few times.
3 out of 4 of my credit cards jump right on the hiking of my interest rate. I was lucky to be able to pay off the credit cards who’s interest rate went from 7.99 to 26.74.
Only one credit card did not hike their rate and that was Capitol One. Now they have all my business. Aerialrobs
